|Recommended: YesA Pleasant, Clean and Safe place to live! — Positives: A nice clean and fairly quiet place with nice staff and friendly neighbors.
Negatives: The use of an Outlaw Towing company that tows cars NOT because they are parked in someones spot and need to be towed BUT Instead by hiding around the facility and then pouncing on AMY car they see parking without a sticker!!Even the Pizza guy had his car hooked up before he got back from delivering lunch!
response from property -Towing is always an issue. I am surprised to hear they are towing cars during the especially a pizza delivery guy. I will call them and address the issues. We always appreciate resident feed back.
|Recommended: YesWonderful place to live! — It s like Paradise! I love the hot tub and pool area! Started using the gym also and its great too. More social get togethers! More grass by the mailboxes, gets muddy. I want new carpet!!

|Recommended: YesNice, Quiet, Affordable Living in Dallas — This apartment complex is a very nice community - right off of Preston road and Dallas North Tollway (close shopping/convenient travel), but tucked away on a more quiet street. The management team has always been helpful and the maintenance workers respond super quick every time. A big plus! We have a washer and dryer included too. The only real downside is that parking is sparse inside the complex and the space is tight (I feel like my car is going to get dinged). There have been times where someone parks along the street and you can barely squeeze past them. If you want a guaranteed parking spot, you ll need to pay a monthly fee. Even with that negative, I d definitely recommend this place to someone looking for nice, affordable living in Dallas.
|Recommended: YesDecently Priced Apartments in a Nice Area — These apartments are located in a great, safe area. I walk around at odd hours and I always feel safe. For the location, the price is not bad. There are so many restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from. Great area for people that love the night life. Maintenance people are wonderful and get things done quickly and efficiently. Ryann and Elizabeth are very helpful. I m not sure if they re working there anymore since the last time I called the office because someone new answered.
|Recommended: YesLove living here! — I have lived here for almost two years and I love it. The community is really safe, the grounds are great, and the staff and maintenance team is wonderful! I hear almost no noise from my neighbors because everything is pretty soundproof. I have never lived in another apartment, and the only way I would move out of this complex is if I bought a house.
|Recommended: YesLovely place, very thin walls — I ve lived in McCallum Highlands for over 1 1/2 years now, and for the most part I have really loved it. The apartment itself is in great shape, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the grounds and amenities are beautiful and well-kept. The two big downfalls are the parking and the thin walls. If you want guaranteed parking, you HAVE to get a reserved parking spot, otherwise if you come home late at night you have either circle around for 30 minutes looking for a spot. Also like I said, the walls are thin. I can hear my across-the-hall neighbor s baby screaming very, very clearly even when I m in the room furthest away from them. Aside from those two things, I love this place and amd very glad I moved here.
|Recommended: YesAwesome living — I ve lived here almost a year now and love it. The staff are amazing, very nice & always quick when you submit a work order. My neighbors are friendly & quiet. My balcony overlooks the courtyard & I feel like I m in a little oasis. The only reason I gave it a 3 for parking is because the parking lot on the side I live on is not inside the gate and there are times it s really hard to find a spot. I don t thinks that s the apartments fault though, anyone can park there, even if they don t live here.

|Recommended: YesPeaceful, Safe & Secure — I have live here since March 2014, and I absolutely LOVE the complex and environment. The office staff is kind, and maintenance requests are handled in a very timely manner. I feel safe and secure living here as well.
|Recommended: YesIt is great in this price. — Everything is great except the washer and dryer is very old and noisy. But it is already perfect choice for me at this price. Their maintenance people is super great.. If I can give them six stars, I would definitely do that.

|Recommended: YesGreat location — I ve lived her since 2010. I Love this neighborhood. I can walk my dog far and at all hours.Theres a police station down the road.Peggy the office manager alwaysis quick to resolve any issues. The maintance people always get things fixed & I trust them to come in my apartment when I m not home.I can t speak for other buildings but mine is pretty quite.They also have a non-smoking building.I would suggest paying for covered parking because the parking lot fills up quickly. There is a big lot outside the gates though.
|Recommended: NoIf parking and upkeep were better it would be nice — Although it s quiet and the outside of the property is well maintained it does not reflect on the interior of the apartments. Rarely parking available after normal 8:30-5:30 shift, no guaranteed gated parking residences, guests can never park inside the gate either (even during the day if parking s available).
Parking can be frustrating. The reason guest are asked to park outside of the gates is because parking is very limited. We want our residents to have parking inside the gates. I would love an opportunity to sit down with you and try to help improve your living experience here at McCallum Highlands. We do have plans for some exterior paint and our bark park should be completed by the end of the month. If you have had a maintenance issue I would like to hear about it. The guys work very hard to repair or take care of any problems with-in the same day. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
